Landscape
It's a lousy photo and the drawing irritates me with its MANY errors/flaws. But, no one is perfect and it may be a while before I can make something better to share. I drew this in 2004. I used a photo of myself for reference, although I bothered with no attempt at capturing a likeness. I toyed about with texture, in this one, to some small degree at least. Since you can only see so much in a little picture of a large drawing, I included a close up of some texture/detail below. I had a hard time holding the camera perfectly still and the shutter was slow, since I skipped the flash, so forgive me if it blurred out just a tad. This was just done in graphite. Not my favorite medium, but cheap.

nice work
thanks for posting your art
youve real talent
This is marvelous! Graphite is one of my favorite mediums and wow, you've drawn a wonderful piece.
Your eyes and hand coordinate so well to deliver sensitivity, texture, visual rhythm, and a personal joy of your gift.
One thing please...from one artist to another, don't point out errors. I can guarantee you that no one else sees them. This is excellent work despite your own personal disappointment in certain areas of it. You owe us no explanation for what looks absolutely marvelous!
I've added you to my Other Favorite Sites.
Thank you for sharing.
Nice :) I was never one for doing portraiture or still life but you've certainly got the gift. I know you feel a little picky over the detail, that's natural, but you've captured the tones & textures well and the structure & proportions are really good :)
It's funny, I had plans to maybe start getting back into my own artwork this year... maybe if I could do half as well as you I'd be happy :) Keep it up :)
i hear that both neil gaiman and alan moore are looking for partners!
on the evidence of this, how come you don't do this stuff professionally?
bloody good anyway.
Thank you for stopping by. And I think they are perfect pictures.
A wonderful job!!!
They say that an artist's talent can be known by his/her ability with graphite. Yours is amazing. I hope to see more of it.

Thanks for sharing your artwork (and stopping by my site).
Whenever I draw something I pick out all my errors and mistakes. Also, if something looks funny but I can't put my finger on it I always hold it up to a mirror. Somehow it makes more sense like that.
Very cool stuff! great talent! do you pursue it professionally or just as a hobby?! cos there's some definite edge there which you msut use professionaly!! :)
